Mekitburn

The fine Belgian weather made Saturday’s gig quite the experience. Mekitburn happens in a park and we played in a tent placed on a meadow. The pouring rain made getting to the entrance alone risky business. Shoes and pants were covered in mud afterwards and I’m sure we would have had a bigger public if it had been dry. Nevertheless we had fun. Played a freestyle set with lots of new music in it. Going from Beats to Dubstep and UK Garage to Techno and back. Big up to everyone who enjoyed it. And a big thumbs up to the organisation for a job well done. Such a shame the weather boycotted the event. And props to the Red Bamboo colleagues who played after us and VJ’ed while we were DJ’ing. The set up looked mighty impressive.
