Radio Show 06/12/2016 – Au Plan K – Philippe Carly in the studio.

We had Philippe Carly, concert photographer, in our studio to talk about a book he wants to release about the legendary club in Molenbeek called Plan K which was seminal in the local and international post-punk scene late 70s / early 80s. Pushed forward by the passion and enthusiasm of Annik Honoré and Michel Duval (see also Factory Benelux and Les Disques Du Crépuscule) many essential bands played there with Joy Division and many Factory acts playing their first gigs outside of the UK. Philippe wants to bundle the many photos he took of concerts and other events with anecdotes and flyer artwork and has launched a crowdfunding campaign to get it released. It’s an essential book and we feel that getting it out is one of the more important things that should happen in 2017. So don’t be tight and spend money.

The interview is in Dutch but the musical is universal and you should all buy the book now.
