The Cosmic Boogie edit series continues were it left off with non other than the hugely respected music encyclopedia that is Sean P. Sean has a collection of records that anyone would envy, and here he picks out two tracks that explore a different side of the label.
“You Make Me So Hot” is Barbara Lynn under the blade, extending and re arranging a slow-mo disco bomb that will work on any floor. On the flip, “Sunrise” takes Rose Royce’s track from Carwash and creates a true funk monster.
Respectfully edited, wonderfully re-mastered and cut loud at 45 RPM for vinyl lovers, Cosmic Boogie is all about exploring the music.
