Lets present you another of our musical performers at RELEASE. Dyno. Currently residing and keeping an excellent (even the best around in Belgium) shop called MacFly which sells forward thinking music, clothes and other stylish or artsy stuff. Making it a perfect match as a partner for our event.
Dyno himself may be one of the more out there beatmakers around but we never go for the easy way so that fits. Like all true Belgian music pioneers grossly overlooked in his own country but applauded abroad. He has released a few things but his best work has yet to find a way into the shops. With a track on the first Beat Dimensions compilation he has, nevertheless, a big reference on his CV. He'll be doing a laptop-set with some microphone action and be sure it's going to be an experience.
Here's his official bio:
An artist based in Belgium, Dyno's work can be described as challenging, innovative electronic music inspired by tribal drums, crunk, dubstep, 80's electro and indie folk. His crunchy, experimental sound is as appealing as it is unique, which lends itself well as to why he's often placed on the same roster with today's most talked-about eclectic beatmakers.
Dyno has a long list of releases to his name, but is most known for his track on Cinnaman and Jay Scarlett's world-renown Beat Dimensions compilation (Rush Hour). Having worked with artists such as Kissey Asplund, Comfort Fit and Cupp Cave, he has been asked to do guest mixes for Los Angeles-based tRue radio, Amp Soul Generation (Samurai FM), Laid Back (Brussel FM), De Hop (Studio Brussel) and Monotape (Turkey). His music has received play on Gilles Peterson's show (BBC 1), Andrew Meza's BTS Radio, Future Vintage and Soul Sociedad.
These days Dyno is finalizing his upcoming release, playing venues and launching his concept, creative family and Ghent-based store Mac Fly.
Here are some quotes about him by people who know what they are talkin gabout;
Vroeg of laat gaan we nog veel horen van deze producer/mc uit België. Dyno is iemand om goed in de gaten te houden, laat dat duidelijk zijn.

Mike Slott (Heralds Of Change)
Dyno brings that new skool future funk with twisted percussive rythms and dusty beat music for the soul. With a snippet of rightly used Jimmy Walker to explain Dyno is Dynamite!
Jay Scarlett (Sound In Color / Spacek / Beat Dimensions)
Nice one. Love the music.
Noelle Scaggs (Quantic / The Rebirth / MED)
Hmmmmmm 'Koffie'!!!! HOT!!!
Onra (The Big Payback)
Dope sounds!!

Soul:ID (ABB Soul)
Great product!!! And I love it.
T Hill (MocaFusion.com)
Overall, ' Dyno Is Sol Waters ' embodies the movements of experimentation and soul - Two of which will keep you moving, nodding, and definitely wanting more.
Porsche Smith (Underground Soul)
Laidback, left field hip hop doorspekt met sound snippets die hij meenam uit Afrika. Een man met potentieel.
The Ticket
Warme, soulvolle plaat die zo bol staat van de klasse dat we ze niet meer in ons cd-rek krijgen.
