Summer Gigs.
You might wonder what we’re up to this summer. We’ve announced some events we will be playing at in the column right of this blogpost, we’ve hinted there would be more to come on our social networks and requests are still coming in. So it looks like it’s going to be a good Onda Sonora summer even if we haven’t planned much ourselves. But enough teasing lets simply announce all dates:
08.07.11 | FortyFive at K-Nal [F]estival | Brussels
Always nice when L-Fêtes invites us. Great venue, lots of Disco & real House and beautiful women galore. This time it’ll be the extended Onda Sonora posse Yoeri, Bart and Dieter that’ll join Sofie behind the decks. Last time was our favourite gig of last year, let’s make this one just as memorable.
10.07.11 | Piknik Musik | Leuven
Jam in the Paul Van Ostayen Park in Leuven with a lot of DJs we like to call friends next to colleagues. Funky Bompa, Kong & Gratts, Teddy Tendertouch & Blast Kid, Lady Jane and Damented. Free entrance and – as the name kind of gives away – there will be food available.
18.07.11 | WP(AB)H Night at Charlatan | Gent
Gentse Feesten. As DJs a long overdue first for us. So big up to Red D for inviting us. We’ll play in the “We Play Anything But House” room all night together with San Soda.
21.07.11 | Bruxelles-Les-Bains | Brussels
We’ll represent – together with DJ Majella – the Bar Du Matin at Bruxelles-Les-Bains. From 17h to 23h. Free entrance. Ideal way to celebrate Belgium’s National Day. And it’ll be the both of us and not a solo gig by Bart as announced on the site.

We’ve played at all previous editions but this is certainly the one we’re most hyped about. Sharing a stage with personal heroes Benji B and Zeb Bias. The backstage will be extra cosy this year as our good friends and esteemed colleagues Title feat. Delvis, 74 Miles Away, Spirit Catcher, San Soda, Stijn, Sagat and Lemakuhlar are also on the line-up. We’ll open plus play between Motek and those other favourites of us The Cinematic Orchestra. Free entrance to make it even better.

Yearly get together of everyone loving rare groove and modern soul. This year we share the bill with
Niels Fischer (Germany), Phil Harvengt, falk (Germany), Alex Corbi, Logeno and Thierry Boulanger. Always immensely fun. Free entrance.

Newly opened temporary venue in Ghent where we are invited by Lefto to play some tunes. An afternoon of good music played by the Studio Brussel / Worldwide don and friends.
23.09.11 | Limited Addiction party | Gent
We know this one is in the far future but we’re too excited not to tell you. We’re playing together with one of our favourite Belgian DJs and 2 international cats we love. Nosedrip, Julio Bashmore and Martyn. All organised by Limited Addiction a superfine Belgian t-shirt brand.
